visuals for cinekid & Ado Ato Pictures
As a production intern at Ado Ato Pictures, I support the production team in managing various film, animation, and immersive content projects, including VR/AR/XR. For Ado Ato Pictures' Dutch premiere of the Anouschka experience at Cinekid, I created a series of posts
but mother!
zine about the complexity of the relationship between mother and daughter. The complicated yet needed connection. Something that can be traumatic and healing at the same time. I frequently think about how daughters are reflections of their moms- their wrenched mirrors, the resemblance of their “ruins”. My relationship with my mom is one of the most confusing and contradictory topics. It is something I struggle to explain, due to its complexity and ambivalence. but something very special.
crinoline - immersive exhibition
an often less discussed remnant of the colonial era is the position of women of that time. many historical books, art and archival records do not talk in-depth about the perception of women in the 17th century. moreover, even the very fact of their existence is frequently neglected, they occupy only around 0.5% of recorded history. a viewer can experience, through surrounding images differences, and similarities of women between then and now, all the way from witchcraft and prostitution to human trafficking and housewives.
